A Flare For Flores

It appears that student Barbara Flores’ love for graphic design began overnight. “Ever since I could remember I had a camera in my hand,” Flores said. She has always had a love for photography and the arts, and finds it intriguing that one can not only tell a story with words, but with images as well. Flores has photographed weddings, parties and works with personal clients upon request.

Flores’ ultimate dream is to “work for Cosmo Magazine doing layouts or in the photography department, whether it be actually doing photo shoots or doing the editing on photo shoots.”

“My goals to achieve are to learn more and get better. I want to find a job in graphic design but I also want a job where I can be a photographer,” Flores says. She not only describes her art style as “over the top,” but her fashion style as well, stating that she does “not do simple.” She currently is finishing her degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Arts.
