Stars Surges Yet Again, This Time With Themes of Quantum Physics
Since listening to their album In Their Bedroom After The War for the first time in 2007, Canada-based band Stars has never disappointed with evolving as a musical group. With powerful themes ranging from lust, falling in love on the Internet and even seeing spirits, this band transcends the lines between intertwining narratives and creating their own realities in their lyrics, album after album. The band members are just as diverse as the visual imagery in their songs. Represented by the Arts & Crafts label, similar artists such as Feist, American Analog Set and The Most Serene Republic join the collective sound. Set for release on September 4th, 2012, Stars released a sample track The Theory of Relativity on their site. With their lyrical pop style still intact, the sounds of 1970’s stardust-meets-scientific theories merge in the preview. With a foretaste of titles such as Lights Changing Color and the futuristic mood of the album, Stars’ profound evolution is something to look forward to.
