Editor's Picks : The Music Edition

In honor of our latest music issue the Papercut editors over the next week will be bringing you their top picks for emerging musicians. I volunteered to go first since I have a very special pick for all of you!

Today I would like to introduce you to the electro- organic fusion of music that is Digi Live . Based in NYC, this “electro - hip hop” band is the perfect mix of digital, live instrumentals and vocals, which makes for some great sounds and gets you dancing even while you are just sitting at your computer. Who are the ones behind these pulsating beats you may ask? Meet Alexandria Tava “ Tava Love” Jonas Imbert “JPG” and last but not least our very own Papercut member Jamall Oluokun!! When Jamall is not working on the magazine ( which is pretty much never) you will find him with his Digi Live crew, rapping verses and working on new beats. Now I am sure once I post this, I am most likely going to get a call saying “Seriously, is this some sort of pay back!!” since Jamall is surprisingly modest when it comes to Digi Live but they have a sick mixtape on iTunes and its fun to listen to so why not share it with all of our supportive followers?!
