Editor's Picks: Yelle's "Safari Disco Club"...In My Cube
I'll have to admit that I'm not super up on the music scene. In fact, my music consumption is rather small due to the fact that I don't own cable nor do I ever listen to the radio, which can both be attributed to living in NYC. Nevermind the digitalization of the music industry. I've only learned how to use iTunes this year. Regardless, downloading music is a challenge since I deal with limited bandwidth from stealing the WIFI from Starbucks (I live in NYC!). Anyhow, excuses, excuses. However, what I do know is that during the deepest of work doldrums Pandora is my only savior besides egregious amounts of chocolate.
So, I bring you Yelle's "Safari Disco Club" + "Que Veux-Tu" supervideo! Yes, it's not the newest, released back in March 2011, but it'll inject your daily activities (sitting on un-ergonomic desk chair, contracting carpal tunnel, surviving the inclimate-ness of office AC/heat) with superfun! The frenchness, electro-pop of it all is kind of like crack -- or consuming approximately 20 macarons, which I did once. I'll get swept up in some supersassy french chick's je ne sais quoi any day. Just when I start itching to rebel against reality, Yelle comes on and suddenly I'm transported to Paris, smoking cigs and spitting champagne in the face of authority. Hmmm, perhaps I should take a cue from the French and go on STRIKE!
Problem solved.

Just in case you don't get it...
