HIT US WITH YOUR BEST SHOT: A call for June issue submissions

For this issue, we’re going to keep it simple: we want you to (literally) hit us with your best shots.

Now, just because we’re keeping it simple doesn’t mean that “simple” is what we expect! We want you, creative masterminds, to push the boundaries. Here at Papercut, we believe that every new issue should be our best issue. With that being said, we’re upping the ante and taking only THE BEST OF THE BEST so be prepared to dazzle us…go big or go home!

THE RULES
· This is open to all photographers and creative teams.

CALL OF THE WILD: A call for April issue submissions

It’s that time again! We are now accepting submissions for our upcoming April editorials-only issue…and this time, we want you to walk on the wild side with these three concepts:

ANYTHING GOES: A call for February issue submissions

For this issue, we’re going back to basics with an open theme of “anything goes.”

Now, just because we’re keeping it simple doesn’t mean that “simple” is what we expect! In the case of “anything goes,” we want you creative masterminds to push the boundaries…like you never have before; to challenge yourselves and try something new. You know all those far-fetched ideas or dreams you have in the back of your brain? This is the time to bring them out and let them shine!

Our December "Red Hot" issue is now available for purchase!

Papercut Wants YOU!

This morning I was checking our email, as I routinely do every day and I noticed something. We receive a multitude of wonderful submissions, but one we could use more of is webitorials! Our “webitorials” (aka online editorial features here on the site) are not only fun and inspirational to look at, but they are our most popular feature – aside from the magazine itself!

So if you have been thinking of submitting but haven’t yet done so, please do! We welcome all creative individuals to do so, whether you are a photographer, stylist or model.

October issue update!

Well Papercutters, it's official. The submissions are in, final selections have been made and all accepted photographers have been notified.

Get ready for a great "shocktober" issue (thanks, Steven!) and for those of you who didn't make it this time around -- don't dismay! -- there will be another open call soon for our December issue (as soon as we can all agree on a theme)!

Thursday Night Visit to Rue La La

Last night I had the opportunity of attending an AIGA AFTA event co-hosted by private sale e-tailer Rue La La. Being an avid subscriber of Rue La La myself, (and Gilte Groupe and ideeli and MyHabit and fab.com...) I was particularly excited about this event, and I can tell you -- it didn't disappoint!
